Acknowledgements was created by two friends, Lisa and Chellie, who have both experienced grief.  We learned in our grieving process that we felt most supported when people found a way to acknowledge the depth of our feeling and understand that grieving takes time.  We have learned that people often don't know what to say or what to do to show their support.

Based on that experience, Acknowledgements mission is to provide thoughtful, lasting gifts that promote healing.  We want each and every item in our gifts to be of the highest quality.  We know it’s not just a gift; it represents your heartfelt message of support and our mission.  Our standards for gifts are high; every gift must offer healing tools to the gift recipient.  Our personal experiences have guided us in designing the Acknowledgements gift line and the message of support we want to convey.  We both have memorial gardens for pet and human family members and we know the comfort good soup, warm chocolate cake and tea, and a helpful book actually bring.
